Kwelii Finance Community Services
Empowering Communities Through Ethical Finance & Financial Wellbeing A Social Enterprise – Profit with Purpose
At Kwelii Finance, we believe finance should empower, not exploit. As a social enterprise operating under a profit-with-purpose model, our Community Services are dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional finance and the real, lived experiences of Australia’s diverse, underserved, and culturally rich communities.
We don’t just talk about numbers we talk about people, families, and futures. We listen. We walk alongside our clients. And we advocate for financial systems that are fair, accessible, and culturally respectful.
Our Community Services Include:
Financial Literacy & Education
We deliver culturally tailored workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching, empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to confidently manage their finances. Topics include budgeting, saving, credit repair, debt management, and understanding the lending process.
Ethical Lending & Brokerage Services
As a social enterprise, we offer responsible brokerage services for home loans, refinancing, debt consolidation, and business lending ensuring fair, transparent, and culturally sensitive support every step of the way.
Community Outreach & Partnerships
We actively partner with migrant, refugee, and CALD organisations, local councils, and grassroots groups, bringing our financial inclusion programs directly to the communities who need them most helping break down systemic barriers to financial participation.
Social Impact Initiatives
Through our profit-with-purpose model, we reinvest a portion of our profits back into the community, supporting initiatives such as:
Youth financial leadership and entrepreneurship programs
Women’s economic empowerment workshops
Financial wellbeing support for seniors
Advocacy for inclusive and equitable financial policies
Community Event Micro-Grants:
As part of our commitment, we provide community event micro-grants of up to $250 to not-for-profit community groups, supporting initiatives that promote financial wellbeing, social connection, and cultural celebration.
Advocacy & System Change
We work alongside policymakers, financial institutions, and community leaders to champion inclusive finance policies and systemic change, ensuring the voices of marginalised communities are heard, respected, and acted upon.
